[ARCHIVED] Spring Clean Up Dumpster Bins

spring clean up

Starting Thursday, May 11 and running until the afternoon of May 13 dumpsters will once again be available for your spring cleanup needs.  Located at the recycling center, residents will be able to drop off large items normally destined for the landfill. The Town is requesting one pickup load per household only and certain items will be restricted - no hazardous goods, fridges, freezers, air conditioners,  water coolers or construction waste. Items must be placed inside the bins and once the bins are full, access to the bins will be closed.

Please be considerate and follow the rules!

Hours are as follows: (Subject to change – check the Town’s website and Facebook page)

May 11: 5pm—8pm (or until bins are full)

May 12: 12pm—5pm (or until bins are full)

May 13: 9am—2pm   (or until bins are full)

In conjunction with the spring cleanup, NANTON FREE-CYCLE is also back!  Your unwanted items could be someone else’s treasure! Place your items in your front yard or on your boulevard (not on the sidewalk please), starting May 11. Just be sure to have your yard and boulevard cleared of any items by the end of the day on May 14.
