The town will be conducting maintenance along 20th street between the north and southbound hwys on Oct 17th, 2022.
This undertaking will address a known issue and will also assist with exploratory assessment of the water main’s condition in relation the Towns current water conservation alert (https://nanton.ca/AlertCenter.aspx?AID=Level-1-Water-Conservation-Restrictions--23)
This maintenance is scheduled from 8:00 am until 4:30 pm, however, the interruption may extend this timeframe pending the results of the investigation.
The water shut off should only affect the localized area, however, other parts of town may be unintentionally impacted though this is unlikely.
