The Town is looking for a Seasonal worker. The job will start soon and continue until October 2021.
*NOTE - we may consider a summer position for the right candidate.

Potential Duties - a partial list:
  • Digging
  • Weed Eating, landscaping, branch removal
  • Cleaning of portapotties, and garbage’s
  • Cleaning facilities (shop, office etc.)
  • Washing vehicles, equipment etc.
  • Working with full time staff, assisting them in their duties
  • Others depending on the town’s need and workers experience and maturity level i.e. mechanical, computer, equipment
  • operation etc.
This position is recognized under the agreement between the Town of Nanton and the Canadian Union of Public Employees Local 37. The rate of pay is $19.10 and based on a 40-hour week Monday to Friday 7:30 to 4:30 with an hour
off for lunch.
Worker will have to provide their own safety toed boots and work wear. Safety gear such as high visibility vests, gloves
etc. will be provided by the town.
