[ARCHIVED] A Message about Garbage and Recycling Pickup

Garbage and recycling

This is a friendly reminder to please have your bins out by 7 am every collection day. Pickup times are not constant. The driver may change, and so may his (or her) pickup schedule and route.

If you have an issue like a missed garbage or recycling pickup, please contact the Town Office.

If garbage pickup is missed, the only place to contact is the Town Office. This can be done by phone or email, or even in person. The Town needs to know exactly how many places our contractor's employee, missed.

Posting on social media will help you vent, but the Town Office needs to know so we can see if the problem can be solved, or at least prevented in the future.

Unfortunately, only if a large amount of garbage or recycling is missed can we get our contractor to come back and pick it up.

Thanks for your understanding in this matter and sorry for any inconvenience caused.
