Message from Mayor Jen Handley
Based on credible local information with respect to area COVID-19 cases , Town Administration have decided that the THRC needs to be shut down for the next 48 hours for a full sanitization by staff. As AHS are reportedly experiencing a significant lag in formally identifying outbreaks and cases, we are acting in a measured precautionary approach mindful of the ‘one positive case can mean another ten undiagnosed cases’ consideration. We’re hoping that the picture becomes a little clear over the next couple of days so that the Town can take more informed decisions for its own operations.
We respectfully appeal to anyone who is undergoing testing or self-isolating and has been a THRC user in last 14 days to contact the Town in confidence so that we can take better decisions for our staff, our users and our community.
This virus is only getting worse by the day and we all need to be diligent.
