[ARCHIVED] Livestream Town Council Meeting - April 6th 2020

livestream Town Council Meeting

New Legislative Modifications to the Municipal Government Act have been implemented to support municipalities during the Covid-19 pandemic.  Physical distancing is primary to lessen the possibility of transmission.  Not only will our Council Members be attending the Regular scheduled Council meeting on April 6, 2020 by electronic means, but our public will be able to view a livestream of the meeting to avoid physical attendance as well.  The Town wishes to officially give notice that the Regular Council meeting will not be held at the Council Chambers at the Fire Hall; rather  Chief Administrative Officer, Neil Smith, will be a the Town Office conference room to co-ordinate this meeting and the new place for the meeting to be held will be the Town’s website.

By visiting the Town of Nanton’s official municipal website, www.nanton.ca, you will be directed to the “Livestream” feature that will be added to allow anyone to hear and view the Council meeting, which begins at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, April 6, 2020.

The agenda package for this meeting can be viewed ahead of the meeting by clicking on the Home page top banner item, “Municipal Government” and following the "Agendas & Minutes" title to the Agenda Centre.  The package is a pdf document filed by the date of the meeting.

Council looks forward to your “attendance”!

Please download the agenda package prior to connecting to the meeting as the package contents will not be available at all times for viewing.
