[ARCHIVED] April 28th - National Day of Mourning

April 28 National Day of Mourning

On April 28, the National Day of Mourning is dedicated to remembering those who have lost their lives, or suffered injury or illness on the job or due to a work-related tragedy.

The Town will be lowering the flags in recognition of this event. .  Although the event is Sunday, we will be lowering ahead of time for convenience only.

The half masting of the flags especially for this purpose, is outlined in the new Municipal Flag Protocols, recently posted to the Bylaws & Policies page of the website.
