The vision of Nanton is reflected in its future growth, which affects all aspects of our community. If you are interested in taking part in this vision, the Town of Nanton is hosting an Open House to present a new Municipal Development Plan at the Curling Lounge Thursday, August 16 from 6:30-8:30 pm. The purpose of the Open House is to review the MDP policies and have participants reflect on whether that is how they see their community evolving. It will also enable participants to provide feedback to the Town on topics and areas that affect them. This will be accomplished in person, or by mailing or emailing responses to the Planning and Development Officer by noon on August 31. Comments will be presented to Council as part of the Public Hearing on September 4, 2018, at 7 pm at the Nanton Fire Hall.
