[ARCHIVED] Water Treatment Plant Construction

WaterConservation-Thumbnail1_thumb.jpg

On November 2nd, the Town of Nanton will be replacing the primary duty pumps at the Water Treatment Plant. During this construction, the Town’s treated water will be drawn down approximately 50% of its normal capacity and all town operations will be run on a single pump.

During this time, all residents are kindly being asked to voluntarily conserve as much water as possible. By reducing water consumption during this project, you will be helping to keep water levels as high as possible.

Residents may also notice reduced water pressure during maintenance, especially during periods of peak water usage. Construction is expected to take place November 2—8. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, however this project is essential to have a fully functioning and reliable water system for the future. If you have any questions or concerns, contact Kevin Miller, CAO, at 403-646-2029 or cao@nanton.ca.
