Due to construction on the Water Treatment Plant a Burning Ban on all open fires including Recreational Fires in the Town of Nanton is effective November 2nd, 2015. All open fires are to be extinguished. This ban will be in effect until construction is complete.

FIRE CONTROL ORDER

1. In accordance with Bylaw #1204/09, Section 15, John G. Dozeman, Fire Chief of the Town of Nanton and in consultation with Kevin Miller, CAO

a. REQUIRE all outdoor fires presently burning whether set under the authority of a fire permit or not, be extinguished, and

b. PROHIBIT the lighting of outdoor fires
Within the Municipality of Nanton.

2. This order INCLUDES all RECREATIONAL FIRES and any other outdoor fires that do not require fire permits.

3. THIS ORDER comes into effect at 7:30 AM on the 2nd day of November, 2015.
