Opportunity #1 - Tom Hornecker Recreation Center Concession

The THRC Concession is a 600sqft concession stand attached to a full commercial kitchen shared with the THRC Lounge. The concession stand has a full service window into the THRC lobby, with a built-in customer base in the thousands of residents, visitors and guests passing through during any of the many events, games or practices occurring in the facility.

Opportunity #2 - Tom Hornecker Recreation Center Lounge

The THRC Lounge is a fully furnished 2,600sqft space adjacent to the Nanton Curling Rink. The lounge shares the commercial kitchen with the THRC Concession, and is a perfect space for family dining, or hosting private functions. The Lounge affords an opportunity for the operator to have a fully licensed restaurant and lounge inside Nanton’s recreation facility.

The Town of Nanton is accepting proposals for either the Concession OR Lounge spaces, or for an operator to lease both spaces to maximize their potential in the Tom Hornecker Recreation Center. The intended lease is from September 2016 to April 2017, however full-year and multi-year lease proposals are also welcome.
Proposals may be submitted to Kevin Miller, CAO at 1907 21 Avenue, PO Box 609, or by email at until Friday August 5th at 1:00pm. Please include in your proposal any relevant kitchen/concession experience you may have, as well as a proposed monthly rental amount. Please note that in accordance with the Municipal Government Act, property taxes on the space will be in addition to the monthly rental.
